Support the Children of Uganda

As of February 15, 2025, LITA Canada will no longer be accepting donations.   LITA Canada is winding down their operations and is supporting LITA Uganda as they prepare to take over the mission of LITA in Uganda. 

 

LITA Uganda has 5 Board members; Sr. Clare, the head of a local school; Suzan Awino, a staff member of TASO Uganda in Mbale; and Gideon Okaali, Silver Gidudu and Ricky Abduhwahab, three young men who have known our founder, Catherine Koch, since as far back as 2007 and who have personally been supported by LITA Canada throughout their education.  

 

LITA Uganda will receive the balance of LITA Canada's funds prior to closing the Canadian bank account.  LITA Uganda is researching how to get more support through local grants and donations.

 

Once LITA Uganda is set up to receive donations, we will provide information on how to donate to them.  However, please be aware that you will not receive a tax receipt as LITA Uganda is not a Canadian Registered Charity.
